We will not promise "fluency in eight weeks." That would be dishonest. We will give you a solid beginner foundation and the confidence to use Italian in real situations.
How the course works
Live from lesson one
Every session is live on Zoom. You speak, listen, and practice, not watch pre-recorded videos. Italian is used progressively from the first lessons, with English when needed.
Small group, real attention
Limited to 4–8 students. That means speaking time, personal correction, and learning from others' questions, without the anonymity of a large class.
Structured progression
Eight weeks follow a clear A1 path: greetings, numbers, food, directions, daily routines, and essential grammar. Each lesson builds on the last.
Materials included
Digital lesson materials, exercises, and summaries provided by the teacher. Textbook not included in the enrollment fee. You'll need to purchase it separately. Bring a notebook and willingness to practice between sessions.
Between classes
Short homework (15–30 minutes) reinforces what we cover. Consistency matters more than perfection. Students who practice a little between Saturdays progress noticeably faster.

Exact pacing may adjust slightly to the group's pace. The goal is mastery of A1 foundations, not rushing through a checklist.

Hello, I'm Giulia (Julia Pulizzotto)I teach Italian online at italianlesson.online and have been helping adults learn languages since 2007.
I grew up bilingual in German and Italian in Munich, studied linguistics at LMU Munich, and founded Studio NaVivo in 2012. I have taught hundreds of private and group students, from complete beginners to exam preparation.
I teach in English for international groups. When grammar or pronunciation is tricky, I explain clearly so you understand why Italian works the way it does, not just memorize phrases.
My goal for this cohort: that you leave each session having spoken Italian, with less fear and more tools for your next trip or conversation.

The course is confirmed only when at least 4 students have enrolled and paid by the enrollment deadline. If fewer than 4 enroll, registered participants will be offered: a full refund, transfer to the next cohort, or a conversation about alternatives (e.g. semi-private format).

I've never studied Italian. Is that okay?
Yes. This cohort is designed for complete beginners. We start with pronunciation, greetings, and the basics. No prior Italian required.
Do you teach in English?
Yes. Explanations, instructions, and grammar are in English. Italian is used progressively in class so you hear and speak the language from the beginning.
What if I miss a session?
Life happens. If you miss a class, you'll receive the materials and summary. Recordings are [INSERT POLICY: e.g. not provided / available on request for one missed session]. Consistent attendance strongly improves results. Plan for at least 7 of 8 sessions.
What do I need for class?
A computer or tablet with camera and microphone, stable internet, and Zoom. Headphones help. No special software beyond Zoom.

What time zone is the class in?
Saturdays 12:00–1:30 PM US Eastern Time (9:00–10:30 AM Pacific). During daylight saving changes, confirm whether you use EDT/EST and PDT/PST on the published schedule.
Will the course run if only 3 people sign up?
The minimum is 4 students. If we don't reach 4 by the enrollment deadline, the course will not run as scheduled. You'll receive a full refund or the option to join the next cohort.
Can I join from outside the US?
Yes, if the Saturday time works for you (e.g. US expats abroad). The course is priced in USD and taught in English.
What happens after 8 weeks?
You'll have a solid A1 foundation. Many students continue with a follow-up A2 conversation group or private lessons. I'll share options at the end of the course.
